The latter of which I do not wish to be and would defeat the whole purpose of playing the game in the first place.
-
today I was reminiscing with a student who was in the first Minecraft Exploratory last year. He was telling me how cool the orienteering activity was when the teams had to search for their hidden chest containing apples, take a screenshot of the entire team holding the apples, and navigate back to the spawn site.

Minecraft in the classroom? | Raspberry Pi

a teacher I think that this is quite profound.

I’m going to blog more about Pi Minecraft in future; I think that its potential as a teaching and learning tool is huge. I’ll be writing lesson plans for it and hopefully not just computing lessons: Martin O’Hanlon’s analogue clock for example would be a brilliant to teach trig and geometry in the constructionist style
